Silmarillion AU: The Ballet

Aredhel would not be constrained by the walls of her brother’s city and rode forth often beyond the borders of his realm. One day she was seen by Eöl, who wove enchantments about her until she was utterly lost. Then he showed himself to her, and loved her. A child they had of their union, Maeglin, to whom Aredhel spoke of her longing to return home, until they escaped together. Eöl followed them in anger and threw a spear at his son, but Aredhel stepped between and was wounded by the weapon, and died.

I guess they had to gave Ospinova the Manon relay after the wrongly didn't gave it to her and Sambe for Don Q. Is Clarke a good actor?

It's so bizarre to me. Don Q is her role and yet we don't have a RB recording of it. If they hadn't given her a live relay this year it would make more sense, tbh.

As for Clarke, it's hard to know. The only role I've really seen him act in was Onegin but that was a leading dancer debut so don't really count that. Most of what I've seen him in is the 'stately prince' role that doesn't have much meat to it.

But they're an established partnership now so I guess it's good to 'debut' it for the cinema/online audience

Hey Ale! Did you see the videos of Chloe Misseldine dancing White Swan and Black Swan pas with Reece Clarke? It looked good to me, I think she really can pull off O/O soon. Maybe next Met season? Also, I just now realized how attractive Reece is and how good of a dancer he is. I haven't really followed Royal Ballet much but now I will!

The videos look stunning, especially considering the two have never danced together and had limited rehearsals. I would be interested in seeing her do the full length. Honestly, I don't mind SL taking a break from ABT's Met rep but it makes money, so I'm confident it will be back.
